Project Duellum

Step into the world of Project Duellum, a thrilling knight duel game where each encounter is unique and unpredictable. Every time you load the game, your opponent's attack patterns are randomized, ensuring no two battles are ever the same. As the player, your mission is to master the art of defence, skillfully blocking enemy strikes with your shield. Then, wait for the perfect moment to counterattack and claim victory. Sharpen your reflexes and embrace the challenge!

How to play

A & D - move left and right

Q - Upper attack

E - Medium attack

F - Lower attack

Mouse - Shield control

The enemy will have a specific attack pattern determined by a random roll. Your goal is to block all incoming attacks and wait for the enemy to tire out. If you try to strike too soon, the enemy will be ready and block your attack. Patience and timing are key to winning the duel.

Hint: There is a certain number of how many shots you need to block until you can attack back.

Known issues (Last update 24/Sep/2024)

• Players and enemies can go off-screen
• Sometimes, the player's block may not work
• Enemy jumps into player
• The lower attack range is too short
• Enemy failure randomise resulted in all the same attack
• Screen shakes when it shouldn't be
  
• UI does not disappear after the player's death
• UI scaling
• Delayed movement input
• Player can fake their attack by pressing two attacks very quick
